To give the delegates the correct information to select the correct personal fall protection equipment, carry out a competent pre-use inspection and safely use each selected piece of equipment in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines. This would include, full body fall harnesses, restraint lanyards, fall arrest lanyards, fixed lanyards, adjustable lanyards, personal fall arrest blocks, setting up and dismantling temporary horizontal safety lines, selecting the correct length adjustable lanyard from the line, the ranges of anchor systems that can be used and communal fall arrest blocks.
